STEVE STEPANOFF
The Main Biographical Points that Influenced the Formation of Mediatraining and Strategic Communication Technologies’ Course. Steve’s father and mother were the descendants of large Cossack families with rich traditions of singing. During family holidays, as the united family choir used to sing in three or four voices, the songs would invariably attract crowds of listeners under the windows of their home. As they moved to Lithuania and he began his first year at school, Steve was recognized on the first day as the local Robertino Loretti and invited on the stage. He actually never left the stage since then and getting used to it, he later gained the ability to teach others how to attract and hold attention, which in one way or another reflected in his further professional life. During a temporary voice failure when he was twelve, Steve kept his position on the stage by dancing – became a student of renowned ballroom dancers from Kaunas, world champions of dancesport Jurate and Ceslovas Norvaisa.
His
first professional education as a fashion designer gave him the
opportunity to acquire skills in image-making and forming visual impact. The acquired ability to attract and hold other people‘s attention enabled him to make further successful steps in his professional career. In 1993 he was invited to take the position of the chief of marketing and advertising department at the Moscow branch of Bank SNORAS. In 1995 he returned to Vilnius to found his own advertising agency BALTIC SUN. On this basis he could organize advertising campaigns for Lithuanian companies on Moscow’s advertising market, using the connections and possibilities he had worked up in the Russian capital. He also was representing the Publishing House MIR REKLAMY and the International Advertising Festival EPIKA in Lithuania. During the same period he worked with popular Russian periodicals, including magazines AMADEUS, SOLDIER OF FORTUNE etc., arranging their printing in Lithuania. He was one of the pioneers to begin the development of internet advertising services in Lithuania, which he did in partnership with LITHILL Company. The agency’s Web Department designed internet sites for many well known Lithuanian companies and organizations. In 1997 – 2001 Steve also worked as the editor-in-chief of internet portal http://www.lithill.lt/lithill%5fold. During that time he also helped carry out successful projects like election of restaurant of the year NOTES ON THE NAPKINS, the catalogue of all Lithuanian Model Agencies MODELS ONLINE and many others. Later on he participated in the development of cyber-entertainment club BASE. – the best project of the kind in Lithuania. As a freelance consultant for marketing and advertising he collaborated with some of the largest Lithuanian companies including APRANGA, SNORAS, NIJOLE, KOMPASS, CELI, ENERGIJOS KELIAS and numerous others. He consulted one of the former Lithuanian Cabinets and some of the largest political parties concerning separate projects, was invited to the Seimas (Parliament) and worked with foreign companies. In 2002 he was offered the position of press representative for an international Company MYLEXXUSS EUROPE.In 2003 he became the head of Public Relation and Advertising Department at KGC NETWORKS, a company that has commercial activities in 40 countries around the world. He carried out advertising campaigns and measures in many countries from Kazakhstan to France including numerous press-conferences, TV shows and a large number of periodical articles. In those years he became especially familiar with the peculiarities of cooperation with mass media as, in the framework of the company’s public relations campaigns, he had a chance to work on TV as a producer, director, editor, reporter and interviewer in the press as the author of articles, and at press-conferences as presenter or participant. He took part in the conducting of GALA INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS at Cannes Festival Palace in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and helped to arrange the presentation of 57th Cannes Film Festival in Moscow. Since the start of his work for the Company Steve had faced a necessity to teach chief executives and leaders in various countries how to be successful in the communication with the media. It was then that the development of Mediatraining began and in the process Steve himself received his training from the best coachers of Europe. His personal professional experience, combined with the most efficient coaching methods used in Europe, constitute the basis of Mediatraining course. Its effectiveness has been corroborated by high demand and successful results shown by the politicians, businessmen, journalists from various countries who attended Steve Stepanoff’s Mediatraining workshops and received his consultations. That success inspired Steve Stepanoff to quit his job at KGC NETWORKS (with which he currently cooperates in the framework of separate projects) in order to devote more time to Mediatrainings and parallel consultations. It is worth mentioning that serious health problems, considered by doctors to be incurable, had complicated Steve’s life since his childhood and led him to develop an interest in the Eastern techniques of health-improvement and consciousness. That allowed him at the beginning of the 90-ies already get rid of all health problems. Afterwards he took part in the 6th Trans-Himalayan Expedition, lived in a Tibetan monastery Sherabling. He practiced of physiological purification and health improvement, Yoga, Chi-Gung, aromatherapy, Reiki (a qualified Teacher), and numerous other technologies of human mind and energy. Thus, in years, a system of health improvement and self-realization crystallized, based on the most efficient practices and methods of ancient Eastern teachings that suited best for the needs and circumstances of modern active European man. Supplemented with Steve’s personal experience and combined into an integral system this simple and easy-to-do practices, not demanding any special preparedness, allow to significantly improve one’s health and immunity, eliminate tension and stress, switch on the mechanism of renewal, reveal hidden energy and creativity resources of human system that help achieve high efficiency and self-realization in all fields of activity on both physical and intellectual creative levels. On the basis of this system Steve worked out a training course called SUCCESS ENERGETICS. Today Steve’s former trainees go on practicing the techniques of this system in various cities of the world, from Toronto to Moscow, which grants the successful realization of their potential. Steve’s Mediatraining seminars include some simple yet effective techniques of consciousness enabling to reduce stress quickly, achieve a state of inner harmony and safeguard oneself against destabilizing outer influence. |
